Author Event with E. Evans Paull:

Stop the Road is an up-close-and-personal account of Baltimore's 40-year battle over expressway plans. Meet the unsung heroes, a ragtag band of neighborhood activists, preservationists, and environmentalists who saved Baltimore from its own leadership, thereby protecting Baltimore's historic waterfront communities of Federal Hill, Fell's Point, and Canton. But that glorious and unlikely win must be tempered with the equally compelling but inglorious story behind the disastrous Highway to Nowhere. This is Baltimore unmasked and laid threadbare for the most momentous decisions since the building of the B&O Railroad. Evans Paull is a retired city planner, living in northwest Baltimore with his wife, Rosemarie. He has three children and one grandchild.

Storytime with Wildlife Adventures:

This storytime was a huge hit! In the past children were able to pet a hedgehog, hold a snake, and meet a huge turtle while learning about the animals and reading a picture book. Children get to touch and hold animals during this lively event and pictures are encouraged. Wildlife Adventures is an educational outreach program dedicated to reaching audiences with environmental messages while providing a memorable and enriching experience for children of all ages. Storytime with Port Discovery:

Join us for an interactive educational program from Port Discovery Children’s Museum designed to foster early literacy skills. Children participate in a variety of nursery rhyme activities using songs, puppets, books, and musical instruments to nurture speech and language development, motor coordination, self-confidence, and sensitivity to others. During their visit, Port Discovery will also provide a sensory play activity. To learn more about Port Discovery Children’s Museum visit:
